The Plus Size Woman Embracing her Fluff
I always say if you have a dream, leap and grab it. Why wait for someone to tell you that you can’t? I had the pleasure in covering the launch of the “FluffyGrlmovement,” for plus size empowerment. The event shows what founder Ebbi Nicole had in mind when she envisioned her business. Her plan is to help those who are curvy work on body image. Most of all around successful in life through mind and body. Ebbi Nicole is what I like to call a Curvy Coach (a curvy woman, helping other curvy women get through life with a positive outlook). She doesn’t just work on the inside, she helps with the out side as well. Say you’re having trouble dressing your body, Ebbi can help with that. She also offers an affordable work book to help you feel amazing about yourself and concur any body image issue you may have.
Birthing your idea… plus size it please
Being a woman in this day is still hard but, being a curvy woman is challenging in it self. That is why programs like these help promote positivity letting women know it’s ok to be healthy and love that voluptuous behind. Seriously who really wants to go through life not loving themselves? Trust me when I tell you that’s a dark place. But don’t worry friends there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. OH! and p.s. I can’t forget to give you the tea on the name ,”Fluff.” As comical as I experienced Ebbi’s personality to be, she wanted a name that was fun yet flattering while being socially conscious hence fluff. She explains her encounter with a waitress who used the word to describe her self, and that’s it, in a nut shell. *psssst* don’t forget to grab her E-book here.
The Event
The Launch of this event takes place in a beautiful light and airy space in Saint Louis. My favorite part is walking in, hearing a violinist play along to some of our favorite songs we hear today. light refreshment were served, and everything was elegant, Light and tasted great. By the way, how cute are the wine flutes with the cotton candy attached? Being in the room there are women chatting and networking. For some of us who are socially awkward(raises hand) there were cards handed out to causing you engage with other women. Yes! thank you girl.
