I decided to combine my two loves into red velvet cookies with a butter pecan cream cheese icing. Go ahead and pick your tongue off the floor. In the mean time we can thank my grandma for this obsession that has now turned into red velvet cake mix cookies.

While most kids love your basic chocolate or vanilla, I was a fan of the deep red cake with creamy sweet, cream cheese and pecan icing. Let us not forget that I’m from the south, so it’s not too far fetched for me to have a love for red velvet cake. But now a days I don’t have time to make anything from scratch so red velvet cake mix cookies will do. Yes I’m still a low carb eater, but you must treat yourself sometimes.

These Red Velvet cake mix cookies can be enjoyed anytime of year or occasion. But do you want to know a secret?
